Water Livestock, Gardens (WLG 5)

 

This is an integrated training project focusing on increasing crop and livestock production, agro-incomes water availability and vegetation cover.
The project is benefiting 1800 families directly and 4320 indirectly and being implemented in the following areas:-

 

  • Laikipia County (Rumuruti and Nyahururu Districts)
  • Nyandarua County ( Nyandarua Central and Mirangine Districts)
  • Embu County (Mbeere South district)
  • Kitui County (Mwingi Central and Migwani District)
  • Kajiado County (Kajiado Central, Loitoktok, Mashuru and Isinya Districts)
  • Kiambu County (Githunguri and Limuru Districts) The project is supported by GLS – Germany

Water, Livestock, Gardens

 

Serenkei Kindergarten project

 

The project is targeting community empowerment through improving access to primary education for 108 nursery school children. It is being implemented in Kajiado County (Loitoktok District). The project is supported by GLS – Germany.

 

Marantawua Primary School and water project

 

Focuses on community empowerment through improving access to primary education for children of school going age and improve access to clean water for domestic and livestock use. The project is targeting 64 children per year for primary school project and 90 families for the water project. It is being implemented in Kajiado County (Kajiado Central District). The project is supported by GLS – Germany
